Are you a nurse who would like to work alongside our Midwives in the delivery suite recovery? Would you like to learn new skills? If so the Midwifery Services within Peterborough and Stamford Hospitals could be the place for you. We are based in a modern maternity unit with excellent facilities aimed at promoting informed choice. Peterborough and Stamford Hospitals serve a diverse population and strive to offer continuity of care to the women who chose our services. We are looking for a dedicated, passionate and enthusiastic recovery nurse to support our midwives in providing post- operative care within the Maternity Services at Peterborough City Hospital. The maternity service has the use of its own theatre and the role of the nurse would be to provide nursing care to women who have had any operative procedure and to support the midwives with specific nursing duties. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be reliable, hard-working, work well within a team environment and be willing to learn.
