About the company Our client has quickly established themselves as a market leader in using data analytics to understand customer behaviour in the motoring, home and health sectors. Their Saas based product combines both Software Engineering and Data Science principles. Due to high demand, they have the need to add an additional Senior Android Developer to the team. This is a fantastic opportunity if you are looking for a position that provides you with interesting and complex challenges using the latest technology within a great working environment. How you will contribute They are looking for great mobile developers who have extensive experience building Android applications. They have recently started working with Kotlin, any experience with this would be highly advantageous. They are looking for Android Developers who have worked on applications that evolve over time rather than one off marketing apps. In this role, you will work closely with our in-house product team, data science and research and development teams and be totally integrated with the backend dev teams. You will be working with design houses, app agencies, and integrated with the DevOps team and deliver great engineering, issue analysis and resolution, which is well tested and delivered into a continuous integration environment. You will be able to demonstrate your adaptability to tackle problems, push the technology forward and deliver high quality work, whilst being creative, energetic and sociable. The ideal candidate should have experience with most of the following. Android Engineer with 3 to 5 years of software engineering experience in a start-up business or a commercial environment * Passion and experience with unit testing, test automation or TDD are really important * Experience in the production of Android software app development, focussing on using sensor data * Experience working with RESTful APIs and can evidence written technical requirements and designing software architectures from previous projects * Commercial experience in app building and architecture What's on offer?
