PHS 1534, Our new clients a family of 3 are looking for a live-in nanny / housekeeper to manage their 6 floor / 6 bedroom property and to occasionally help with their 10 years old daughter. The position is located in Chelsea, London SW3. Due to the layout of the property, the family are looking to hire a candidate who is energetic and physically fit. It is also important to mention that there is a very friendly poodle who resides at the property. The principals are a busy family who work from home and you therefore will need to organise your day and conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times. This vacancies' duties will be split in approximately 20% Nanny and 80% Housekeeper. All initial interviews will be held virtually and providing that you pass the initial interview, a face to face interview will be arranged. Days: 5 Days / Week Hours: 7.00am - 7.00pm Location: Chelsea, London Salary: 500.00 Net / Week Starting date: ASAP due to COVID19 Morning: The ideal candidates' working day will start at 07.00 where they will be required to organise the childs wake up routine and prepare breakfast. The principals normally do the school run themselves however there may be occasions where you will be requested to help. The school is located within 15 min walking distance and there is no need for you to have a driving license. Day: The principals usually go out for lunch or prepare lunch themselves. Providing that you are on top of the duties, you may have up to 3 hours of breaks during your working day. The principals daughter will normally return from school at around 16.30. The housekeeping duties will include but will not be limited to: * Kitchen cleaning, (eg, wiping down surfaces and white goods, loading the dish washer, washing some items by hand, checking use by dates) * Keeping the general areas clean and tidy (eg. returning misplaced items, emptying the bins, dusting, wiping away marks, watering plants, dusting doors, removing finger prints from likely areas) * Keeping bedrooms clean and tidy (eg. changing of the bed linens, taking away dirty laundry, dusting, replacing water and toiletries) * Taking care of the laundry (eg, washing, ironing, steaming, hand washing, sorting, sawing etc..) * Cleaning of upholstery (eg. hoovering, leather cleaning, steam cleaning, wiping ) * Cleaning of the carpets and floors (eg. hoovering, vacuuming, wet washing/mopping, solvent cleaning, wiping down skirting boards etc..) * Taking stock check of pantry and useable items * Cleaning windows on the inside * Cooking for the family * Walking and taking care of a dog Evening: Cooking a healthy dinner for the family and cleaning up afterwords. Initially, the family will give you guidance on their expectations and help with preparation. The accommodation provided is a separate room on the 5th floor as well as a bathroom which will be shared with the child.
