Job Description

Account Manager My client is an award winning, independent IT firm, offering secure and fully managed IT service. They design, deliver and manage solutions to meet clients' strategic IT needs, across Cloud, Infrastructure, Connectivity and End-User services. I am looking for candidates that can demonstrate an understanding of the value proposition for IaaS, Cloud, IT Security, Disaster Recovery solutions etc. You will: * Own and drive the development of customer accounts. Proactively initiate workshops and lead discussions to determine long-term plans/budgets * Manage the end-to-end contract lifecycle * Lead the identification and develop prospects * Develop and maintain a trusted advisor relationship with C-level and technical decision makers * Use business acumen to raise awareness of new service offerings and strategically position its USPs * Ensure effective, timely and accurate communication to relevant clients at all times The package is between 40,000 - 50,000 + (Flexi hours, private health care plus more benefits) My client has 2 account managers already and they are going from strength to strength. 80% of the role is account management and 20% business development. Qualifications What is necessary to be successful in this role? * Track record of upselling and cross-selling IT managed services (withing the IaaS), for example: service desk support, projects (typical projects would be: migration projects, infrastructure upgrades) * Familiar with technologies like: Microsoft (Office365), Azure, Citrix. * Track record of developing client account roadmaps * Experience of working within defined sales targets Qualifications: What is necessary to be successful in this role?
