The Role: An opportunity has arisen within the SCS Joint venture to take a key role in the development and roll out of a cutting-edge cloud based mobile software solution that is set to revolutionise the way information is collected from sites on construction and infrastructure projects. We are looking for a capable, self-motivated Business Systems Analyst, who is diligent and accurate but also has the creative flare and vision to make the most of this unique challenging opportunity. Having previous experience in managing a software supplier and configuring an application is an advantage. Initially working with our software supplier - one of the leading innovators in the field, the successful applicant will play a part in the development and implementation of a mobile application, being there from the start to ensure that our projects needs and aspirations as well as the full capabilities of the tool are realised. Once the system goes live the successful applicant will take ownership and responsibility for the tool within the SCS project, managing the administration and maintenance of the system, providing training and technical support for both hardware and software issues our users encounter. Key Responsibilities: * The Business Process Administrator is to understand the system entirely, the business processes it will map and be ability to use customized software tools to reap its optimum benefits. * Working with the whole Project Team in identifying updates and change, managing the change request logs. Prioritizing and helping the vendor to configure and deliver solutions, in line with construction activities. * Learn and understand the system and be able to assist the vendor in pushing the boundaries, such as importing data, as-built files from plant and equipment seamlessly into the database. * Working closely with the Project Team, IT and the Vendor, this person will be responsible for monitoring the system for the SCSJV, with its business-critical processes, and responding immediately to usability concerns. * Ensure the vendor takes appropriate action, raise any concerns with senior management. * Develop training material & provide training, with the vendor assistance to the champions, and the wider site. * Train and supervise the admin staff on updating and maintaining access permissions and access privileges in line with the competence matrix. * Coordinate System Support and Business Continuity. * Monitor the use of the system & develop reports in Power BI, in liaison with the BIM Team and the vendor. * Provide visualization of progress in the BIM model and GIS mapping, for the Assurance Team and wider site team. * In addition to the above discipline role, the Business Systems Administrator must carry out his/her duties in accordance with the SCSJV Core Values. Understand the Client and Joint Venture Partners' Environment and Sustainability Policies, * Processes and statutory requirements as they affect the company's operations and ensure that the requirements, as applicable within their discipline, are implemented on the project.
