Job Description

Our client runs a dozen or so 4 star hotels across the North and due to some organisational changes, they are now looking for a couple of competent CDPs to join their team. The ideal candidates will have experience catering for large scale Banquet and Conferences as well as fine dining, however they hire on attitude so this is desirable not essential. The ideal candidates will have previous experience of cooking with fresh, seasonal ingredients and will confidently be able to demonstrate good knife and cooking skills. Other desirable attributes include: * Experience of working in a busy kitchen is a MUST! * A real passion for food * Good communication & organisational skills * Attention to detail * Ability to work under pressure * A desire to learn, progress & develop As Chef de Partie you will be very much be working as part of the team, assisting with daily prep & ensuring that your section is always clean, organised & ready for service. * A working trial can be organised at the site, where we can offer you accommodation if required for that evening. * There is great opportunity for career progression within this growing group. * The personal development of all their employees is a key priority, and they ensure regular training is carried out in all departments and actively support individual staff in their attainment of further qualifications and internal promotion.
