Head of Governance | Senior Management | Band 7 depending on experience | Elland | Flexible hours and an opportunity to make a difference Spire Elland Hospital has an exciting opportunity for a Head of Patient Safety, Risk and Governance to support all departments of Spire Elland Hospital and work closely with the Director of Clinical Services and Hospital Director to ensure safe, effective, compassionate and high-quality care, underpinned by continuous quality improvement. Spire Elland Hospital has been providing high levels of medical treatment and personal care since 1985. Our hospital has a full multi-disciplinary medical team on-site who practice some of the most advanced treatments on the latest generation imaging and diagnostic technology. This means we can offer everything from screening and rehabilitation through to leading-edge surgical procedures and excellence in specialist fields like orthopaedics, cardiology and pain management. Duties and responsibilities We are looking for an innovative healthcare professional that is constantly looking to improve our hospital through learning, reflection, action and performance. To be considered for this role you will be a healthcare professional with experience in a similar role. You must have demonstrable experience of managing clinical teams, along with previous positive working relationships with regulators. The successful candidate will have proven success meeting financial and key performance indicators. An understanding of CQC methodology, incident reviews and RCA process would be preferred however training and development opportunities are available for this exciting role. Who we're looking for * A clinical Professional looking to develop their career - Full training and induction will be offered * Be NMC registered - your pin should not have any restrictions or conditions or HCPC qualified * Have a minimum 5 years' experience within a hospital setting * Understanding of N.I.C.E guidelines and up to date Clinical Knowledge * Experience working in different areas of a hospital is desirable but not essential.
