Job Description

We are searching for a breakfast chef to join this established team on the outskirts of Huddersfield. As breakfast chef you will ensure the smooth running of the breakfast service to the residents of the property and on occasion outside clients. The property boasts 11 bedrooms as well as catering for weddings and events, which in turn will boost the covers on the breakfast service. The property is positioned within the luxury market, so a keen eye for detail and quality is essential. With any breakfast service, it is the last thing that the client will receive before check out, so consistency and high standards are essential to ensure guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding and previous experience in Hotels or restaurants with rooms and must be able to demonstrate a stable working background. Candidate responsibilities Prepare, cook and serve high quality breakfasts each day for the properties guests Ensure the consistency on all menu items making sure they are all produces with in any time constraints Use the best ingredients to create a diverse menu alongside the head chef Cater for any dietary requirements or special request that the guest has Also be involved with afternoon tea service and lunch service Maintain a safe working environment Manage your orders and prep for the following days service, working in an organised fashion. Candidate specification Be a trust worthy person and reliable Must be able to commute early mornings a driver is preferential due to public transport Have experience in luxury properties, ideally as a breakfast chef Must be able to work 6am-4pm Be flexible in regard to your work availability- 5 days over 7 as the business requires Be able to demonstrate a stable working background Be able to provide two references Must have a flexible approach to work and be able to work across all outlets as required The Employer Multi outlet restaurant with rooms 11 Bedrooms 30 Cover fine dining restaurant Casual dining bistro C&B facilities In line with the requirements of the Asylum & Immigration Act 1996, all applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
