Job Description
Disability Assessor (Nurse, Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, Paramedics) Walsall 34,000 * Would you like to work in a role where you are using your clinical skills to help people get the support that they require to live a normal day to day life? * Would you like to work for a company that offers support and training to all their employees along with a steady career path? * Would you like to work within the community, Monday to Friday, getting your weekends back, be based from home and paid an excellent salary? If any of this interests you then the role of a disability assessor could be ideal, working on behalf of the DWP you will be visiting people in your local area to carry out assessments to make sure they are receiving the support that is owed to them. Due to a huge number of people missing out on benefits and support that they require to live their life to the fullest we are looking for healthcare professionals with the required clinical skills and knowledge to visit them in the community and carry out a full assessment and report. To be eligible for the role of disability assessor you would require: * HCPC or NMC Registration * Have 2 years post registration experience as either a Nurse (RGN, RNLD, RMN, RCN), Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist or Paramedic. * Have a full British driving licence and a vehicle * Excellent computer skills Salary and Benefits: * 34,000 + 1000 once DWP approved * Excellent Bonus, up to 3,000 * Paid Holidays * Life insurance * Company Pension If you are looking for an opportunity to do something different while still using your clinical skills, then this could be the role for you.
