Job Description
Head of Development Location: Birkenhead Salary: £66,635 Per Annum A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Head of Development to join our busy Development Team. This role is on a permanent full time basis working 37 hours per week, based in our modern head office in Birkenhead, Wirral. The office is easily accessible from most transport links with just a short walk from Hamilton Square train station and local bus routes. Free parking is provided to staff either on site or nearby. The Head of Development role The role of Head of Development reports directly to the Assistant Director of Development and has responsibility for managing a small team. The role offers a great opportunity to help deliver the multi tenure programme of 445 homes that's on-site. It's also a real chance to shape and deliver a significant pipeline of future projects that are already in place. Current developments are being built across 14 sites on the Wirral and in Halton and Cheshire East. A future development programme has also been agreed by Board which will continue to deliver Magenta's Growth strategy and ambitions. Requirements for the Head of Development Role You will be someone with a positive and enthusiastic personality with a strong focus on customer service, attention to detail and positively contribute positively to the role and team you work in. The ability to plan, organise and prioritise work is essential and to be able to work with agencies and colleagues of all levels, both internal and external. Good verbal and written communication skills are a must and ideally you will be fully proficient in all Microsoft Office packages.
