Senior Social Worker - Out of Hours Team

Job Description
This improving local authority based near Wandsworth with an exciting opportunity for an experienced qualified social worker with a background working with Vulnerable Adults, Children and Mental Health to join our excellent Out of Hours Team. You will be joining a service which has recently received funding, enabling the authority to hire more staff members. This will provide you with stability and less stress as a social worker, not having to worry about you next role. As well as being giving the resource and support to help with all cases in the team. The team provides a comprehensive generic social work service out of hours via a duty system and as an experienced social worker you will be required to have the confidence to work independently in an out of hours environment, with minimum management support. You must be able to demonstrate the skills required to work with service users in a challenging out of hours environment, whilst maintaining a caring attitude.
