Job Description
Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust are delighted to invite applications for two 1.0 WTE Consultant Community Geriatrician Posts. Mersey Care manages physical and mental health services across Liverpool and Sefton. We are undertaking an ambitious plan to develop a holistic model of care. These innovative posts will provide pivotal clinical input and leadership through provision of hot clinics and support to place based integrated care teams, intermediate care units, care home teams and older adult mental health units across the Liverpool area. There will be opportunity to maintain acute trust links via the frailty units. Applicants should expect to be involved in service development and quality improvement as we strive towards excellent care. The post will involve liaison with colleagues in acute, primary and mental health services . This is an exciting time to be joining our division with the recent expansion of our services.
