Sommelier, Michelin Starred Restaurant, Berkshire up to 21k We are looking for an experienced Sommelier to join this Michelin Starred restaurant. * Sommelier Michelin Starred Restaurant. * Berkshire location * Staff accommodation available * World famous establishment * Salary package up to 21k About the Hotel This beautiful hotel sits in 240 acres of picturesque parkland, an equestrian centre, polo fields, kids club and plenty of outdoor pursuits, this hotel has more than enough to keep even the most active guest entertained. The restaurant was proudly awarded the Michelin star of excellence and showcases a modern outlook on classic British dishes with stunning views across the terrace. For a more relaxed and rustic dinning experience where muddy boots are most welcome then there is also a 2AA Rosette restaurant which offers a delicious brasserie style menu of comfort food in an informal setting. Working as a Sommelier As a Sommelier you are responsible for creating a wine experience, help and advise guests with their wine and after dinner drinks choices while serving them with accuracy and flair. You will be required to create a seamless journey, prepare a comprehensive mis-en place, polish glassware, take orders for cocktails, aperitifs, spirits, wines, liquors and soft drinks. Actively up sell beverages by imparting your knowledge of wines and beverages in regards to matching with their dish choice. Help with food services and clearing of tables (when possible) as part of the restaurant team. The suitable candidate will have studied WSET or Court of Master Sommeliers and have previous experience within a Michelin starred luxury establishment.
