Chessable is part of the Play Magnus AS group, the company was founded by World Chess Champion Magnus Carlsen and is revolutionising how people learn, watch and play chess. Are you searching for your dream job? Do you have a passion for chess and lifelong learning? We are seeking a Senior Product Designer who has worked on digital products for at least five years. Please note: An up-to-date portfolio and at least 5 years experience working in web & mobile products are essential for this role. This job can be remote/work from home, or from our office in London, Bristol or Barcelona. Responsibilities: * Developing a partnership with your Product Manager to fully understand customer needs and business value, challenging each other to raise the bar for Chessable * Working with our team to interrogate various data sources to uncover relevant quantitative and qualitative insights. * Working with our copywriter to ensure that the product follows the style guide and is effectively localised. * Manage timelines and processes to meet deadlines * Continuously optimising the design process in your squad and across the wider team. * Testing and optimising low high fidelity prototypes with key stakeholders and customers to validate that we are solving the right problems. * Driving a mobile-first mindset within the team * Ability to deliver final UI designs for development and work closely with engineering counterparts for execution Requirements * 5 years plus experience in user-centric product design with a proven track record * 1-2 years experience being a lead on a large project * BA/BS degree from a top university * A solid grasp of User Experience and Visual Design fundamentals * Familiarity with A / B testing and User Testing * A portfolio of successfully designs and results achieved. * Enjoy working with a high level of autonomy * Experience working in a lean agile product environment. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build a consensus amongst stakeholders. * At least a basic knowledge of chess, a plus. * Spanish is a plus, English is required Benefits * 25 days holiday leave + an extra day next year if you use it all * Birthday off
