Database Developer/DBA - Renewable Energy Database Developer/DBA - SQL / Power BI / DBA - Edinburgh Roc Search are currently recruiting for a Database Developer/DBA to join a highly successful team working for one of Europe's leading Renewable Energy suppliers based in Edinburgh. They are expanding the team and are currently looking for a new Database Developer/DBA to come on board and be working on a variety of tasks and projects day to day. This is a new position - not a replacement - and as such you will have the opportunity to come on board, advise and make changes as needed, and really make the position your own. Example projects of some of things that you would be getting involved in include such things as various integration tasks, adding new integrations in (different websites, ports etc - cleaning them and putting them into the database), creating a database for the customers secure details and backing them up (possibly done with SharePoint?), setting up a gateway and allowing different systems to talk to each other using Power BI, and more. There will also be day to day general BAU SQL DBA work as well, including things such as account creation, patching, security, capacity management, logging etc Essential skills include experience with: * SQL Development * Power BI * Database Administration Advantageous skills include experience with: * SharePoint * C# * PowerShell This is an excellent opportunity for the successful applicant to gain exposure to the Energy industry with great rewards, including bonus, healthcare, dental, pension and more.
