The BISS EU (Business, Industrial and Scientific Supplies) team is looking for a self-driven Senior Vendor Management candidate that has a proven track record of delivering results. Amazon's BISS EU scope currently encompasses 17 categories including, but not limited to Safety Supplies, Janitorial Supplies, 3D Printers, Stethoscopes, Industrial Electrical Supplies and more. The successful candidate will play a critical role in helping grow BISS across all 5 European marketplaces. The Senior Vendor Manager (SVM) is responsible for managing the full scope of their category and vendor portfolio, driving the topline performance and profitability for their business. The role will also work with multiple product groups and leaders to grow sales on Amazon.com. The SVM owns the end-to-end vendor relationship, from signing new vendors, leading negotiations, managing promotional activities and resolving operational or logistics issues that impact our customer. The SVM will leverage key metrics to develop customer insights to drive innovation, and will leverage these insights to drive vendor participation in marketing, merchandising and promotional activities in order to drive overall business growth. The position will be based in Amazon's office in London. This is your chance to make history! Responsibilities: Design and own the sourcing strategy (direct/indirect supply, priority brands, selection and terms) for one or more of the key segments of the BISS-category Manage all vendor relations and drive high-level negotiations of agreements/deals with leading brands Support the execution of technical integration with suppliers and support projects to more efficiently source stock and assimilate vendor catalogues Agree with vendors on promotions and marketing initiatives and coordinate with the Marketing team to execute these activities Be an ambassador of Amazon for the BISS category, developing deep knowledge of supply/ demand trends and success drivers Participate in day-to-day operational aspects of the category, including gathering and addressing customer feedback, price management, business improvement initiatives
