Job Description

My client, a large National accountancy firm with an office in Manchester, is looking to recruit an Audit Manager or Audit Senior Manager to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to progress your career very quickly as there is space for another Audit Partner in the office. Key responsibilities: Manage a client portfolio, ensuring the highest possible standards of client service at all times, and to take an active role in the growth of the office through the identification of new business opportunities and involvement in the business development process. Research and prepare proposals for new work, and to take part in formal presentations to prospective clients. Take an active involvement in prospective client seminars, and to effectively follow up contact made. Act as an effective line manager for a group of newly qualified's and assistants. Requirements: CA / ACA /ACCA qualified with proven significant post-qualification experience. Previous audit management experience. An ability to demonstrate commercial awareness. Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with well-developed interpersonal skills and an ability to relate to a variety of clients and colleagues. An ability to demonstrate strong organisational and time management skills. Experience of working with large corporates would be beneficial but not essential. One or more specific sector specialisms.
