Overview
Our client, an established strong regional practice, are looking for an Accounts and Audit Senior to work within the expanding Accounts and Audit Department. Your duties will be varied, and include:- Liaising with clients to resolve queries, and working together with clients to ensure deadlines are met Preparing management accounts and year end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies Ensuring all assignments are completed within the allocated budget Drafting Corporation Tax computations and liaising with our tax department Your background will include:- Experience in the preparation and review of financial statements for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies Knowledge of tax compliance issues. You will be ACCA or ACA qualified, with minimum five years' proven practice experience and be IT proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, Sage, Xero and Quickbooks. Experience of using CCH is preferable. You will also likely have proven experience of Audit work, preparation of cashflow forecasts, business plans. Experience in the preparation of management accounts would also be an advantage. You will be a team player with a passion for your profession and excellent interpersonal, planning and organisational skills, and possess a good commercial mindset and ensure that you maximise the opportunity to sell the firm's full range of services.
