Community & Events Manager Part-Time (10-18 hrs/month) Edinburgh - The Shore, Leith Seed Haus is one of the UK's leading early stage tech accelerators. We invest in the best founders and help them build tech companies. Your mission. To inspire and engage Seed Haus' portfolio of startups through organisation and management of value-add events and workshops with leading investors and advisors. You'll be responsible for championing the Seed Haus brand within the Scotland/rUK startup scene. The role. We're looking for a Community/Events Manager to help grow Seed Haus' startups and brand. This is essentially a community-facing role to help Seed Haus build its offering to the current cohort/alumni and engage with a wide variety of subject matter experts. You'll report directly to our CEO and will play a core role in building out the Seed Haus community. This is a great role for individuals who enjoy building (technical/creative) communities and have started, or will start, their own company in the near future. This is a part-time role with the opportunity for remote working (we would obviously need you on-site at events though). Based on this, we can be adaptable with working hours. You'll be responsible for: Organising and managing/hosting relevant community events (with invited guest speakers). Contributing towards Seed Haus' marketing strategy, including oversight of our content calendar and social media, as well as the Seed Haus newsletter. Discovering new opportunities to increase engagement with Seed Haus. Running internal Seed Haus events to engage alumni and the Seed Haus community. Evangelising the Seed Haus programme and community. Having an online presence through online channels. Skills and experience required: Community management experience is desirable (although: engaging technical communities and running technical events. Ability to talk confidently with founders and high-profile individuals. Track record of self-driven side projects. Entrepreneurial mindset - you're thinking about the company you're going to build. Good written communication skills. Bonus points for: Design skills (experience with Adobe suite etc.).
