Have you ever thought about working within a prison? HMP Bullingdon is a Cat B/C prison holding male adults ages 18 and over located in Arncottt near Bicester, Oxfordshire. Working as a Bank Staff Nurse offers you flexibility and workplace variety. You would also be assisting the wider permanent team, covering for planned and unplanned absences. What will you be doing? As a Bank Staff Nurse (Adult or Mental Health Nurse) within either our primary care, mental health or substance misuse teams, the skills you use may be similar to those you need working in health promotion or A&E, or those within inpatients or alternatively you may be supporting people managing their mental health or substance dependency issues. You can expect to be involved in everything from clinical triage to carrying out nurse-led clinics; reviewing patient histories, undertaking relevant examinations and tests, organising any necessary treatment and referring patients to other healthcare professionals when you need to. Across everything you do, you'll maintain accurate records and provide the kind of helpful, empathetic support that will make every patient feel at ease. More information The rate of pay is a flat rate of 17 - 22 per hour - dependent on experience, working ad-hoc shifts as and when required.
