SEO Specialist (Tech SEO and SEO Content) Our SEO Specialist lives within the Customer Acquisition team, responsible for acquiring high volumes of quality customers in a cost-efficient way. You will lead and implement the overall Technical SEO & SEO Content strategy ensuring that we increase our organic traffic in order to drive new customer acquisition. Youll also support the acquisition team more broadly by running CRO experiments across all our landing pages and owning the understanding of digital analytics and attribution. Your mission is to drive business growth via inbound traffic management - can you 10x our organic visits and ensure they translate into quality signups? Beyond your direct acquisition team, at Gousto we work in tribes, so youll work very closely with (a) the DP and tech teams, that supports you with SEO tech work (b) the Brand team - both copywriters and social media team, in order to decide what are the right content pillars for SEO/brand building, briefing creative team to produce that content and (c) with retention, finance, insights and analytics team, so that you can take the most educated decisions based on evidence, data and measure the outcomes effectively. Your success will be measured with OKRs on volumes, ROI and A/B testing improvements. You will report to the Senior Digital Marketing Manager and will work in one of the most exciting and fast growing companies in the UK! Core Responsibilities: Maximising organic traffic via SEO improvements and Content Expansion: * Conduct technical SEO analysis/audits on a BAU basis spotting opportunities for higher ranking or risks * Work with the technical team to prioritise, scope and implement SEO projects across the website * Work closely with our paid search channel owner to conduct keyword analysis and set up keyword strategies * Work closely with our brand team and external partners to create a compelling content strategy and launch it in a way that maximises traffic and conversions * Lead our link-building campaigns with an external agency and ensure back-link profiles are clean * Produce solid and spotless daily/weekly reporting and quarterly reviews (including GA reports) * Manage CRO across: * the acquisition landing page via testing cycle, conducting research and working with channel owners to advise and come up with ideas for new tests * organic landing pages, via adopting a commercial eye - understand the customer journey and optimise for conversions Strategic thinking * Work through every decision to make sure it is pushing in the direction of providing a strong ROI for Gousto * Take a holistic approach to SEO and consider the full marketing funnel when scoping opportunities for growing organic traffic and signups * Think 10x and figure out how to get there - get buy in from strategic allies, be resourceful and creative on how we get things done fast and well Key Stakeholders: You will work closely with your team as well as having key stakeholders across Gousto, including: * Technical teams (digital product, UX/UI, engineers) * Brand * Growth/Retention * Insights * Finance/Analytics Requirements * Strong technical SEO expertise * Experience of developing and implementing SEO content strategies * Analytical and data savvy marketer * Knowledge of SEO tools including Google Search Console, SEMrush, Moz, Google Analytics, Screaming Frog * Someone who can promote a culture of trust, collaboration, grit, get it done, resourcefulness, curiosity * Strong communication skills and ability to clearly articulate impact; ability to influence and work cross-functionally across several internal teams. * Strong project management skills including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Nice to haves: * Experience with Wordpress preferred but not essential * Experience with landing page testing using Unbounce would be a plus Whats it like working at Gousto?
