Job Description
Senior Sales Engineer with client-facing experience sought to join a rapidly expanding Fintech organisation in London to help increase their platforms presences in the market. Over the past four years, my client's cloud-based data investment platform has made considerable ground in the asset management market transforming the way data is stored, accessed and analysed. With sizeable funding behind them, they are now looking to introduce the platform into the wider market and now building a brand new sales engineering team so this is an opportunity for an experienced Sales Engineer the chance to help shape an early-stage company with huge ambitions. Using your technical skills and customer-facing experience, you will work alongside the sales team to identify new clients and deliver technical presentations explaining the cloud-based platform whilst working with end-users onsite to ensure the platform is seamlessly integrated into their environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales engineering background with knowledge of C#, Java or Python with cloud knowledge (ideally AWS) in a client-facing position dealing delivery software. My client is committed to building a supportive environment and with this being a new team in the business this role has the opportunity to progress into a leadership role down the line. The primary focus for the senior management team is hiring the right personal traits as opposed to what skills you can bring to the table, so passion, an ability to learn, a team player mentality and individuals who want to make a difference are high on the list with the only mandatory technical requirement being programming experience on the languages listed above.
