EMEA Finance Analyst

This is a fantastic career opportunity in Peterborough for an experienced Financial Analyst with a natural commercial flair. You'll join a small team within Cummins Generator Technologies (CGT), a very successful business unit within the Cummins Group. As part of a team, you will help to provide Financial Analysis to the EMEA region, as well as having the sole responsibility of managing the credit risk analysis for the business unit. This is a unique role, where you will play an influential part in key business decisions for an international company. Responsibilities; Monthly management of accounts for the EMEA region including; income statements, working capital, capital expenditure and commentary on performance with explanation of variances. Support the preparation of the EMEA region budgets, forecasts and the corporate plan. covering the P&L and other KPIs for the CGT business unit. Working closely with Finance teams, developing an understanding of trends in performance, and key issues, activities, and timetables. Financial modelling for AOP, forecasting, capex projects and productivity initiatives. Develop own knowledge and understanding of trade finance and credit management skills to allow you to effectively evaluate customer credit- worthiness, determining potential risk factors and presenting your findings back to key stakeholders. Prepare metrics analysis and consolidated credit reporting for each entity, as well as ad hoc credit analysis and reports as required. Support local customers in relation to credit limits and terms, ensuring that activities are in line with Corporate Credit Policies. To be successful in this role you will need; Existing experience working as a Financial Analyst or Credit Analyst is essential, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
