HMP Guys Marsh is a category C adult male training prison, holding adult men located in Dorset. Make a difference from day one! As a Mental Health Support Worker you'll be an integral part of the healthcare team by bringing your top notch skills and passion for care. Assisting the registered practitioner in the risk assessment and delivery of immediate and, where appropriate, ongoing care for patients referred to the mental health team. You'll support patients to access care and treatment appropriately within the prison setting, working independently with lone working at times. As a Support Worker, you'll bring your proven mental health experience to this role, providing assistance with delivery of mental healthcare needs, including health promotion. We're looking for someone just like you to be part of our team. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours a week. The salary for this role is up to 23,761 - FTE - dependent on experience. This role will work within a rota and cover opening times from 07:30 - 18:00 4 days per week. Weekend cover will be required approx. 1 in 3. Next steps...
