Legal Secretary - Braintree, Essex An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Wills and Probate Legal Secretary to join a well-established law firm in Braintree. This is a full-time, permanent role which requires experience within a Wills and Probate department. As a Legal Secretary, your responsibilities will include: Preparing correspondence and documents through audio typing and word processing. Administering filing which will include daily filing and the opening, closing, storage and retrieval of client files in accordance with the detailed procedures contained in the office manual. Preparing mail and enclosures for dispatch. Arranging for all copying to be done, in person with the client's identification. Making appointments, arranging meetings and maintaining an up to date diary for your principal. Preparing the conference room for meetings as necessary and tidying and clearing the room at the end of the meeting. Speaking with clients as they arrive in the office. Ad-hoc reception duties. To be a successful Legal Secretary, you will have the following skills and experiences: Previous Wills and Probate experience. Previous experience or currently working as a Legal Secretary. Good MS Office experience. Excellent phone manner. Attentive. Your working hours will be 09:00-17:00, Monday-Friday. In return, a Legal Secretary will receive a salary of £20,000 to £21,000 per annum.
