We're looking for a Psychiatrist to support the Regional Manager, based only at HMP Guy's Marsh. What will you be doing? This is an exciting time to join HMP Guys Marsh with a new mental health specification which is improving care to the prison population. As the Psychiatrist for HMP Guys Marsh, you'll provide dynamic leadership of the mental health profession across the Care UK Health in Justice services. You will be pivotal in engaging the mental health workforce to support the delivery of the organisation's objectives, ensuring the provision of an effective high quality mental health workforce within the available resources. As the Psychiatrist, you'll support the Regional manager in shaping the policies and strategies for developing and modernising mental health practice throughout the Health in Justice Service line in order to ensure high quality, safe and appropriate healthcare services for our patients. Salary and Benefits This is a part time role, working 22.5 hours per week although we can accommodate more hours. Salary for this role is dependent on skills and experience it can be up to 84,000 per annum (pro rata) You will be required to cover annual leave / sickness either in person or via telephone support to HMP Portland and HMP The Verne for your counterpart.
