Job Description

Sponsored Advertising provides the platform for some of Amazon's fastest growing strategic businesses, such as Sponsored Products and Sponsored Brand Ads. Our global advertising platform provides self-service low-latency systems for multiple performance-based advertising programs with large ad inventories. It supports both automated and advertiser-specified optimization controls and features particular integrations for using product data from across the entire Amazon catalog as a source of ad content. We believe that advertising, when done well, can enhance the value of the customer experience and generate a positive return on investment for our advertising partners and we are continually driving to develop advertising policies and standards that support this vision. Amazon is currently looking for a highly motivated Ad Policy Program Manager to help ensure a great experience for our customers by working with leadership in sales, operations, legal, product management, and other Amazon business partners. You will play a lead role in the design and implementation of key policies in our rapidly growing Sponsored Advertising business and will be responsible for delivering often complex guidance in a comprehensive and easily digestible way. You will work with multiple stakeholders across the business and coordinate and influence communication strategies, training, and product enhancements. You will act as a single point of contact for internal and external ad policy escalations and clarification requests and will partner with cross-functional teams to unlock revenue opportunities. You will work closely with our moderation partners ensuring that policy guidance is implemented in a consistent and reliable way. You possess a strong analytical ability and will develop deep expertise in Amazon's proprietary metrics and evolve how we analyze and interpret this data to drive positive change for our customers. As an Ad Policy Manager, you will be expected to improve internal processes and influence product roadmaps. You will set and articulate expectations around leadership behavior for the team and model behavior that exemplifies the Amazon leadership principals. Core Responsibilities Support the development of policies that protect Amazon, our customers, and advertisers Handle daily policy escalations from advertisers, internal moderators, and other internal stakeholders Preparing and delivering business reviews to the management team regarding project progress and roadblocks.
