Alarm Response Opertator

Mitie has a great opportunity in Havant. We are looking for an experienced alarm response operator to join the team on site, you will take a lead role on site on a daily basis. Your shift pattern will be discussed at interview with a pay rate of 9.65. You will report into the sites security operation's manager. Roles and responsibilities The role requires the use of multiple computer and telephone systems to provide appropriate responses to signals from remote alarm installations across the Estate. Ensuring all Alarms and CCTV activations are handled in an efficient manner using relevant Action Plans, contacting Police and Keyholders if required. You will be expected to answer a variety of inbound calls from both customers and alarm engineers in a busy control room and deal with their requests as appropriate Assists with day to day support in relation to ARC Systems including PAC enquiries and ensure that the service is sustained 24/7; this includes server status, data storage, system action plans are correct and applicable; ensure that any concerns are escalated. To be responsible for escalating and raising Work Orders for Engineering and defective security equipment on site. You will operate within set procedures using specially designed computer software and full in-house training and mentoring will be given *Person Specification* * The Full time security officer will need to be a team player with an enthusiastic attitude. * Previous experience within Security. * SIA Licence * The Full time security officer should be able to work on own initiative. * Corporate Security experience. * Flexible Approach to work to suit the business needs. * Excellent customer service skills * Ability to go above and beyond to support the client and visitors * Excellent communication skills are required both written and verbal. * It is important the Security Officer is calm under pressure. * Understand the Health and Safety at Work Act, relevant Criminal, Civil Law and Police and Criminal Evidence Act. * Door Supervision or Security Guarding License essential.
