Haringey Personality Disorder Pathway Deputy Lead /Specialist Practitioner / Mentalisation Based Treatment Therapist (RMN /OT /Psychologist /Social Worker) Band 7 Full time 37.5hrs GROW INTO A NEW ROLE An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Mental Health Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Psychological Therapist, or Social Worker to join our team. We wish to appoint a highly experienced clinician/MBT therapist to a band 7 role in the Personality Disorder Pathway, based at St. Ann's Hospital, North London. The post holder will have undertaken MBT training and can demonstrate an interest and experience of working in this specialism. Specialist supervision will be provided for the post holder from the clinical Pathway lead and there will be additional opportunities to develop both clinical and managerial roles within the post. The successful applicant will be expected to hold a caseload of patients within the Pathway who are receiving Mentalisaton based treatment. The applicant will also co facilitate psychoeducational and exploratory MBT groups. In addition the post holder will also deliver Structured Clinical Management as an intervention and to provide supervision to junior staff for SCM. The Haringey Personality Disorder Pathway was previously The Halliwick Personality Disorder Service and was the birth place of MBT where the treatment was developed and manualised by Peter Fonagy and Anthony Bateman. There is an emphasis on team work in the Personality Disorder Pathway and the post holder will be part of a supportive, creative and cohesive team.
