Deputy Sister/Charge

An exciting opportunity has arisen on the john Warin ward (Tropical Medicine and infectious disease department) for the post of a ward clerk. The role will involve close working with all members of the multi-disciplinary team, patients/relatives/carers, The purpose of this role is to provide an efficient and high standard of clerical service to the ward; to ensure that a welcoming and professional greeting service is provided to patients and visitors; to ensure the smooth running of the admission and discharge process for patients on the ward and to ensure accurate and timely completion of unit databases. We are looking for pro-active, highly motivated individuals to work autonomously or as part of a team. The applicant will be expected to be enthusiastic, organised with excellent communication and IT skills.They should be able to work well under pressure and be able to prioritize their own workload under constantly changing demands.
