Position: Business Intelligence Manager Contract: Permanent Salary: Up to 60,542 per annum Start date: ASAP Want to work as part of a high performing data and analysis team for a values-driven organisation with a vision for a healthier world? We are recruiting for a Business Intelligence Manager who will play a key role in enabling BMJ to deliver value from customer and user data by leading in the intelligent application of our data and technology. Using the latest innovations in SAP BusinessObjects and other available tools, you will proactively transform BMJ's data into meaningful information to promote better decision making and to obtain value from customer, user, product and sales data. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in enabling organisations to leverage the value of Business Intelligence, and be an expert ideally in the application of the SAP BusinessObjects portfolio to provide exceptional Business Intelligence services. + Lead on the development of BMJ's BI strategy by being the central point of contact for BI and analytical requirements + Work closely with stakeholders at all levels across BMJ to fully understand and deliver on their BI drivers, requirements and aspirations + Enable stakeholders to understand the "art of the possible" to ensure the correct tools and approach are used to meet BI and data visualisation requirements + Develop and enhance data visualisations, dashboards and analyses using BMJ's BI platform + Manage all aspects of BMJ's BI platform + Keep up-to-date with the latest BI innovations and industry best practice to actively promote the benefits of BI and new innovations + Expert skills in the use of BI tools, preferably with SAP BusinessObjects, to deliver information that can be used for evidence based decision making + A proven track record in the design and development of BI databases and outputs including data visualisations, dashboards and analyses to meet complex stakeholder requirements + Strong SQL skills for the analysis and creation of SQL statements + Strong understanding of database and data warehouse modelling concepts + Experience of the administration of BI platforms + Proven ability to work with stakeholders at all levels within an organisation, correctly manage stakeholder expectations and communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience + Ability to produce work to a very high level accuracy ensuring that outputs are trusted + Experience in a marketing role, ideally within professional services, publishing or business information + Educated to degree level or equivalent + Knowledge of the healthcare sector would be an advantage If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact Tashan Chong-Kan on 0203 6555508 or email tchongkan@bmj.com Why should you apply?
