ENGIE are recruiting for a Range Warden to be based in Cleveland & Durham Police Tactical Training Centre, Stockton-on-Tees TS16 0QB This is a permanent full-time role working 40 hours per week. The candidate will assist the Senior Range Warden, ensuing the facilities/ranges remain available and in a safe serviceable condition appropriate for their use; Carry out minor planned and reactive building fabric and M&E maintenance work, as instructed via the Service Desk, Facilities Manager or Senior Range Warden. Carry out first line investigations of building faults, isolate/make safe prior to contractor/maintenance arriving on site, as notified by the helpdesk. Assist with all regulations and procedures concerned with the safe use of the range facilities ensuring that they are adhered to at all times; and to monitor and assist with the monitoring and coordination of all activities within the range areas ensuring the safety to all users. Assist with the maintenance and operation of all specialist range control systems and associated equipment, range targetry systems, cameras and lighting. Assist with the cleanliness of the training facilities, including assisting with the specialist cleaning provided by contractors. Undertake daily inspections of the premises, in order to maintain safe integrity of the site. Required Qualifications, Skills or Experience: * Must be knowledgeable and experienced in conducting various general maintenance trades. * Must be a basic awareness and experience working within a firearm training facility. * A robust understanding of Health and Safety and ideally hold a valid First Aid qualification but not mandatory. * Ideally hold a basic qualification in a maintenance trade * The candidate must undertake and pass a Basic Disclosure check For more information about ENGIE, please visit: For this role, you must have evidence of the right to work in the UK.
