Job Description As an Outsourced Testing Support Co-ordinator, you'll provide support for all aspects of SGS Vitrology Subcontracting and Logistical Services. Key Accountabilities; * Perform all duties and tasks in accordance with relevant Good Manufacturing and Good Laboratory Practice guidelines. * To provide support to the Outsourced Testing Manager on subcontract studies. Provide technical and regulatory support to clients on all aspects of studies. Manage sub-contracted projects in a timely manner, to ensure the correct paperwork and correct Test Item and vial allocation to the test for shipment to the sub-contractor, and the correct test method and amendments/deviations are executed at the test site facility. * Review sub-contractor SOPs/Study Plans with QA and Operations Director to ensure the correct compliance - both regulatory and technical * Issue clients with results before preliminary and audited * To aid in shipping when required on multi-site studies when required in compliance with OECD Series on Principles of GLP and Compliance Monitoring, Number 13. The Application of the OECD Principles of GLP to the Organisation and Management of Multi-site Studies. * Ensure shipping permits are acquired from subcontractors in a timely manner (F&W/CITES/USFDA) Qualifications To be successful in this role, you'll have a Scientific background and laboratory skills relevant to TLSM role, you'll be educated to degree level in a relevant discipline including practical laboratory modules (e.g. BSc Hons in a biological science), or a relevant number of years experience. In addition to the above you'll also need to demonstrate the following; * Previous experience of managing scientific projects or studies - in vivo, microbial and virology experience preferential * Experience of working in a GLP/GMP environment * Experience managing subcontractors * Good communication and project management skills, verbal and written * Ability to work under pressure, to tight timelines * Awareness of deadlines and commit dates * Awareness of financial aspects of TLSM role (shipping, revenue recognition etc) The following attributes would be desirable, but not essential; * Experience of working in a GLP/GMP environment, or equivalent * Experience of working in a quality assurance environment * Writing and word-processing skills. * Ability to understand customer needs. * Biologics logistical experience * Good communication and project management skills, verbal and written * Higher degree, e.g. PhD, in relevant discipline Additional Information As Outsourced Testing Support Coordinator, you'll receive a competitive salary based on experience, plus you'll benefit from a 10% performance bonus, retail discount scheme, private health cover after 1 years' service, a contributory pension scheme and life cover. * Job Title: Outsourced Testing Support Coordinator * Job Type: Permanent * Hours: 35 per week * Job Location: Glasgow APPLY NOW for full consideration, you can be sure that your application will be treated confidentially and impartially, and you will always receive an update within 10 business days.
