Pricing Analyst: (Part Time, job-share or Full Time) Location: London The opportunity: Are you looking for the next step in your Actuarial career? Do you want to the opportunity to gain experience involving multiple types of analysis across a broad range of portfolios in the General Insurance business? Reporting to the Property and Casualty (P&C) Pricing Manager for Mid-Market, you will be joining the Zurich Commercial Insurance Pricing team and will be based in London. If you are someone with experience in an Actuarial or analytical role looking to continue their career within Commercial Pricing, we would love to hear from you. This role is available part-time, job-share or full time. This is because we want the best people for our roles, and we recognise that sometimes those people aren't available full-time. Key Responsibilities: * Calculates pricing for new/renewal business, and assists in price monitoring, planning, and profitability analyses for defined segments of insurance business. * Performs research, experience studies and other statistical analysis. * Tests and maintains pricing models and tools. * Performs experience investigations and data validation. * Provides product development and pricing support to the wider business Your skills and experience: * Bachelors degree (or equivalent) in Mathematics/Statistics, Economics, Sciences or other numerical degree * Some relevant experience in an actuarial or equivalent analytical role * Excellent IT skills -coding experience highly desirable but not essential * Good communication and interpersonal skills to be able to effectively interact and negotiate at all levels * Adaptable, Professional and Positive manner * Able to manage and meet deadlines and work under pressure The reward: As well as a competitive salary we also offer an excellent lifestyle benefits package which includes - * 12% company pension contribution * Annual company bonuses * 25 days holiday plus bank holidays and an additional 3 volunteering days * Contribution to medical cover * Discounted technology offers * Virtual GP appointments * Discounted gym membership * Free flu jab * Discounted gadget insurance At Zurich we will consider requests for flexible working on hiring.
