Job Description

JD Below: We are recruiting for a self-motivated Messaging and System Administrator (Skype & O365) with experience of migrating from on premises Skype to Microsoft Teams in a complex, regulated environment and to a user base > 10K, for an initial 3 months engagement. Position Summary / Responsibilities: * Responsible for the technical aspects for the design, configuration and migration from on premises Skype to Microsoft Teams within the larger project team. * Solution validation testing including troubleshooting and resolution of issues. * Ensure monitoring is in place and co-ordinate results from various parties, network, telephony, firewalls etc. * Troubleshooting and resolution of complex technical problems and engaging with first, 2nd 3rd line support teams. * Provide end user support, including participating in walk-through demos of services and technical design. * Undertake knowledge transfer to support teams (1st line, 2nd line). Requirements/Knowledge • In-depth knowledge of Audio/Video/Web Conferencing, Session Border Controllers/Gateways, SIP Trunk Configuration, High Availability and Disaster Recovery, Federation, Persistent Chat, Office Web Apps, Firewall Rules, and Monitoring/Reporting. • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft O365 including the configuration and migration from Skype to Teams. Having had significant exposure in a Global Admin role. • Experience of integrating Skype for Business and Teams within telephony systems • Proficient understanding of technology areas such as Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Group Policy, Client and the ability to maintain other Windows core services. • Experience implementing Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) with Active Directory. • Strong knowledge of PowerShell and .NET scripting. • Expert knowledge of networking concepts and technologies. • A solid understanding of Windows Server 2012/2016, VMware, DHCP, DNS, Outlook, and OWA. • Solid knowledge of enterprise messaging. • Analytical approach to solve complex problems in a complex, large-scale, and multi data-center environments. • Microsoft Certified IP-PBX gateways, eg Sonus,QoS, AudioCodes • Understanding of Real Time Communication Protocols, eg SIP • Skype for Business Edge Services implementation for external or mobile client access and Federation JD Below: We are recruiting for a self-motivated Messaging and System Administrator (Skype & O365) with experience of migrating from on premises Skype to Microsoft Teams in a complex, regulated environment and to a user base > 10K, for an initial 3 months engagement.
