Vice President of EMEA About the role: Lead the current team of ~43 Sales, Field Marketing and Support personnel, and continue organizational expansion to drive profitable revenue growth within the EMEA region. Build and oversee the development and execution of the Sales strategy for the region ensuring alignment with overall global Commercial strategy. Focus on customer satisfaction and increasing the value of 10x's brand. Leverage market knowledge and industry expertise to shape and ensure 10x leadership position is expanded. This role will report directly to the SVP of Global Sales for 10x Genomics. Job Responsibilities * Build and sustain a high-performance culture. Identify, recruit and retain the best talent that will drive 10x's success. Create a strong talent development culture that produces the next generation/bench for a growing business. * Develop strong relationships with internal leadership and externally with our customers. * Understands and utilizes the correct business and market levers to catalyze revenue growth in direct and indirect sales channels. * Take a thoughtful approach to the management of OpEx, cost of sales and customer support. Ensure balance in spend and ROI in all aforementioned areas * Work closely with the SVP of Global Sales and the leadership in Marketing, Support, Finance and R & D on initiatives and activities related to customer success, VOC, market development, product roadmap strategies, competitive product positioning and pricing, new product launches, commission plans and quota assignment. * Drive customer satisfaction to ensure future sales. * Collaborate with internal organizations (e.g., Finance, Productivity Engineering) to ensure that Sales organization is built with scalability and operational excellence. Productively drive change and cultivate followership in change initiatives. * Lead the region with the utmost integrity, modeling professional and ethical business and personal conduct at all times. Knowledge, Skills and Experience * A strong leader with a proven track record in developing and executing a sales growth strategy and leading/developing a growing organization. * Experience in the life sciences and/or biotech as well as with organizations that have had rapid growth. * Combination of differently sized company experience that includes exposure to the best practices of successful large companies as well as experience operating in smaller companies. Capability to be hands-on if necessary, but also has the experience and insight to build a scalable organization. * Demonstrated ability to drive execution excellence, and work under matrix organization. * A history of successfully building performance cultures by recruiting, developing, and motivating well-rounded and effective teams that have gone on to demonstrate growth and success. * Strong negotiation and problem resolution skills. * Ability to effectively resolve organizational and interpersonal conflicts. * Proven ability to direct high level negotiations. * 10+ years of experience in Sales and Commercial leadership, preferably including experience with high growth revenues (biotech field or life sciences) and organizations selling into translational/clinical markets). * Strong technical knowledge of the markets that 10x sells into. * Bachelor's Degree required, advanced degree in biological sciences or education a plus #LI-KO1
