**Senior Data Developer & Data Tools specialist - London - VP** We are looking for Senior Data Technologist with experience in data tools in the Enterprise Data Services team under Enterprise Operations and Technology, to help the implementation of next generation Data Platform using cutting edge Data Management Technologies. The Candidate is required to possess relevant data design and development experience in the Big Data Eco-System and should be a strong team player. Exposure to treasury, finance or risk functions on the Retail/Wholesale Banking products. This is a significant opportunity for an experienced developer / tools specialist with experience in modern data platforms and data tools to move into a role working with a variety of development teams, including close collaboration with an on-site Data Governance team. The Applications Development Technology Lead Analyst is a senior level position responsible for establishing and implementing new or revised application data tools and programs in coordination with the Technology teams & Chief Data Office. The overall objective of this role is to build and implement data tools aligned to data strategy of citi. **Responsibilities:** + Active member in the design and build of new Architecture using a variety of cutting edge technologies & tools. + Ensuring high quality software development, tools integration, utilize advanced knowledge of system flow with complete documentation and tractability + Promoting unit/functional testing and code inspection processes + Working with business partners and BA's to understand requirements + Working with data scientists to understand and interpret complex data-sets + Working with project managers and support teams to meet delivery targets + Quickly becoming knowledgeable on Finance and Risk Functions in Cards, Loans, Mortgage products. + Review and analyze proposed technical solutions & data models for projects + Contribute to formulation of strategies for data tools and other functional areas + Provide evaluative judgment based on analysis of factual data in complicated and unique situations + Ensure essential procedures are followed and contribute to defining standards negotiating with external parties when necessary on tool selection. + Partner with multiple management teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals as well as identify and define necessary system enhancements to deploy new products and process improvements + Resolve variety of high impact problems/projects through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards + Provide expertise in area and advanced knowledge of applications programming and ensure application design adheres to the overall architecture blueprint + Develop comprehensive knowledge of how areas of business, such as architecture and infrastructure, integrate to accomplish business goals + Provide in-depth analysis with interpretive thinking to define issues and develop innovative solutions + Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards. **Qualifications:** + Experience preferably in the Financial Service industry + Experience as Applications Development / tools specialist + Experience as senior level Technology specialist role + Stakeholder management experience + Demonstrated leadership skills + Exhaustive knowledge of industry practices and standards in data. + Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication **Knowledge/Experience:** + Confident engineer with an authoritative knowledge of data tools and data modelling + Experience in relevant tools like data lineage tools, data governance tools, data tracing tools & data mining. + Comfortable working with large data volumes and be able to demonstrate a firm understanding of logical data structures and data analysis techniques + Experienced with automated build and test processes + Able to demonstrate an expertise in identifying and resolving data quality issues - in data sets at rest and in flight + Familiar with the financial services industry and/or regulatory environments + Proven work experience on one or more leading data tools in the market **Skills & Technologies:** + Data Tools like Collibra, Solidatus, Informatica, Manta , Celonis , Snowflake + Scripting /programming languages + BI tools and data visualization tools + Industry standard Data Modelling tools + Big data platform like Hadoop or similar + Cloud based platform for dat
