Job Description
Senior Finance Analyst - FP&A Our finance team is evolving quickly in line with the demands of the UK high growth and the international expansion in the US. We are now looking for a talented Senior Finance Analyst (FP&A) to join the Finance team, based in London, that will help us deliver on analytics and reporting to our stakeholders. In this role you will report into the CFO. What you'll do You will work closely with the CFO, the Group Financial Controller, and with all the operational line managers in the business. You will: * Own the budgeting and reforecasting cycles, as well as the long-term business planning, for internal or fundraising purposes. * Lead the development and management of the rolling forecast model, to further improve its accuracy, its variance analysis and reporting capabilities to stakeholders (It is currently an advanced and modular set of Excel files and Python code interrogating a SQL database, including a cohorts-based attrition model, a channel-based customer acquisition model, in addition to more traditional forecasting modules). * Produce and analyse the monthly KPI and financial reporting within strict deadlines. * Assist in preparing the board material, and the monthly trading updates. * Work closely with the data team to build further the suite of relevant dashboards. * Lead on the commercial analysis and interpretation of data: partnering with the line managers, working closely with the data analysts embedded in the business to analyse and bridge data types. This is a huge opportunity for someone who is up to the challenge of interacting directly with senior management including the CEO, who is driven by analytics and data and is keen to make a real impact on the growth of the business. What were looking for * 5+ years of experience as a Finance Analyst, ideally in Fintech or Banking. * Demonstrably strong in planning and reporting, across several financial / data systems. * High proficiency in professional modelling in Excel, manipulating a large volume of data (we are looking for an expert in Excel, who can do more than VLOOKUP and can structure complicated system relationships in clear, auditable models). * Strong analytical and mathematical skills in a data rich environment and the ability to collaborate with non-finance business partners are key attributes. * Intermediate level of experience with SQL level to work with the Data Engineers this will include choice of technologies for the rolling forecast and for dashboards (Excel vs Python, proprietary vs off the shelf), as well as interacting on predictive regressions. * Ability to structure and prioritise in a high volume, fast-paced environment and drive work to completion. * You are a team player, with a strong sense of purpose and high integrity. * You are a self starter who enjoys to work autonomously and as part of a team * You are driven by analytics and data and are keen to make a real impact on the growth of the business.
