We have an exciting and challenging opportunity for an experienced Health and Safety/Facilities Manager to join our team based in Cardiff working in a demanding, yet rewarding environment. We are a large transport operator based within the City of Cardiff operating 20 hours of the day. As a key role within our business you will have a large range of responsibilities and be involved in each area of the organisation. What we are looking for? * Someone who can continue to ensure compliance with our current policies and procedures, ensuring risk assessments and incident management systems are in place * Who has a passion for Safety, Health and Environment. * Who is able to manage and drive forward some key initiatives, both relating to EHS and Facilities Management. * Who has great flexibility and good team working ethics. * Who has a passion and drive for continuous improvement. Your experience? * You need to have an IOSH qualification and preferably NEBOSH. * Experience of OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 and implementation of updated standards. * A proven track record of continuous improvement of Health and Safety. * Have chaired Health and Safety Committees. * A First Aid at Work qualification. * Be able to deliver induction, training and development in this field. * Familiarisation with compliance outside of H&S eg GDPR/Facilities. * Have demonstrable Project Management skills * You need good organisational skills.
