A focus on in-house produce and exclusive products through our print on demand facility, has accelerated evolution of the sites away from traditional entertainment retailers towards growing Merchandise and Collectable markets - an area we plan to continue our investment in. At THG, we encourage and promote growth and exploration within your role and as such, the below list gives only a summary of the role remit: * Manage the supply base for brands such as Hasbro, NECA, Hot Toys, DC Collectables, Banpresto, McFarlane and others to maximise all KPI's including sales, margin, stock and P&L targets. * Develop ranges, identify gaps and improve the overall product offering. * Research global trends in pop culture and buying habits for core customer base. * Identify and source new suppliers to drive regional/international growth. * Liaise with the Zavvi trading team to ensure all products, ranges and promotions are planned and presented in the best possible way. * Analyse performance by product type throughout the season highlighting any gaps in the range as well as any development opportunities. Requirements * 1-2 years+ industry experience in a buying role. * Extensive knowledge of the collectables market with established supplier relationships. * Interest in current Pop-Culture & collectables product knowledge. * Experience dealing with suppliers and negotiating skills. * Excellent commercial awareness and analytical skills. * Knowledge of the US marketing and global collectables brands (desired). * Knowledge/understanding of online marketing channels such as email promotion, affiliates, PPC, SEO and social media (desired).
