Job Description
Senior Java Developer Central London Up to 75k A leading Facebook Partner, International sports video Platform Technology firm based in London are looking for a Senior Java Engineer to join its team. The company work with some of the biggest sports broadcasters in the world including Sky Sports, BT Sport, Real Madrid, La Liga and Sky Sports, as well as major social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and Twitter. This is a perm role based in Central London paying up to £75k This is a Senior Java Developer to come in and drive Cloud based platform which is hosted on AWS. Every product of the platform is architected and built for high availability and scalability for a global client base. Being a cloud-based platform allows the java engineers to remain agile and gives them the freedom to try new things without compromising on reliability and speed of development. As the Senior Java Developer you will be: * Building quality APIs, architecting and building reliable microservices and serverless architectures * Working collaboratively with Product owners to deliver key security, scalability and reliability features * Taking ownership of your project/work by designing, building, maintaining, iterating and supporting new products and new features * Manage, mentor, lead and inspire more junior members of the team Skills required: * Proven expertise and professional experience in Java, * Spring / Spring Boot * Microservices OR AWS Cloud Experience Nice to have * Solid Experience with testing (API tests, Integration tests, ...) * Docker / Kubernetes * Knowledge of terraform * Leadership and mentoring The company offer a competitive benefits package including some remote working.
