About the Role We are currently looking for part-time Support Workers for our Supported Living services in the Batchley/Redditch area. MacIntyre have five supported living services that are run together and you will play a key part in assisting the people we support (aged between 20 to 75yrs young) to live as independently as possible. There will be some personal care involved. You will be joining in their favourite pastimes and hobbies as well as making sure they are active members of their local community. You could be taking them out on day trips, going out for meals or to the cinema, going bowling, to the gym, helping to set up voluntary or paid employment, socialising with family and friends and maybe supporting with health appointments. No two days are the same. You will be working on a rota system which includes days, evenings, nights, weekends and bank holidays as well as occasional sleep-ins. There will also be day-to-day advice and help from your Head of Service (Frontline Manager) and other Senior Practitioners. What's important is that you share our values, have a positive approach and are willing to learn. Drivers will be desireable for this service however, non drivers will also be welcomed.
