Job Title: Registered Nurses Location: Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands Salary: £16.95 to £17.58 per hour dependant on experience Position: Full Time / Part Time Sector: Healthcare / Social Care Opportunities are available for outstanding Registered Nurses to join a friendly, family run luxury Nursing Home located in Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands. Flexible full and part time positions are available, including days, nights or weekend shifts. You will earn £16.95 to £17.58 per hour dependant on experience, with generous enhancements available for additional shifts. Wyndley Grange Nursing Home is located in a beautiful lakeside setting, on the edge of Sutton Park Nature Reserve, and offers excellent transport links by bus and train. It is an established, successful business, with a genuine passion and commitment to providing a high standard of person centred nursing care. We offer a range of services for all our residents, including nursing, dementia, respite and end of life care. Our 64 bedded Nursing Home is rated Good in all 5 areas by the CQC, and we consistently strive to achieve Outstanding. Key Responsibilities: * As a Registered Nurse you will ensure all residents consistently receive a high standard of person centred, evidence based care. * You will ensure all care is assessed, planned, implemented, and evaluated to meet residents individual need, and that the resident and their relatives are fully involved in decisions about their care. * Act as a role model to Care Assistants, providing leadership and support, and ensure all care is delivered safely and effectively. * Maintain high standards of record keeping, and ensure all care is clearly and accurately recorded as detailed within the NMC Code. * Maintain safe practice in medicines handling, administration, and storage and ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and guidance, as issued by the Royal Pharmaceutical Society and Royal College of Nursing. * Provide an accurate and detailed staff handover to ensure continuity of residents care over a 24 hour period. * Maintain professional integrity and accountability, and ensure that the caring culture expected of nursing and care staff is always maintained. Skills and Experience: * Valid NMC Pin Number - Level 1 Registered Nurse (Adult Branch) * A minimum of 12 months post registration experience, preferably within an older person setting * Evidence of recent Continuing Professional Development * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Strong organisational and prioritisation skills * Caring and compassionate disposition * Ability to take charge of the shift in the absence of the Senior Registered Nurse Employee Benefits: * A competitive salary of £16.95 to £17.58 per hour, dependant on experience, with generous enhancements available for additional shifts * Flexible shift pattern * 28 days annual leave per year, including all bank holidays (based on full time working) * Generous paid breaks for all shifts, with meals provided if working a long day * Comprehensive Induction Programme on commencement of employment * Excellent training and development opportunities which include: Venepuncture / Dementia Champion Training / Accredited End of Life Care Training / Death Verification Training and other courses as discussed and agreed at Appraisal * Genuine succession planning opportunities * Employer Contributory Pension Scheme * Free DBS and Flu vaccination * Professional staff uniform * Pleasant working environment, with purpose built staff room and all amenities.
