Maintenance Technician- Dereham NR19 Robertson Recruitment are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician for one of our prestigious clients based in Dereham (NR19 area). This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious, hardworking candidate to join a market leading company. Please note, due to the location of the site, all candidates must have own transport to get to work! Job Role * Develop maintenance procedures and ensure implementation * Carry out inspections of the facilities to identify and resolve issues * Check electrical and hydraulic systems of buildings to ensure functionality * Plan and carry out all repair and installation activities * Monitor equipment inventory and place orders when necessary * Monitor expenses and control the budget for maintenance * Manage relationships with contractors and service providers where specialists are required * Keep maintenance logs and report on daily activities * Ensure health and safety policies are complied with * Ensure all tools are in a safe and usable condition. Candidate * Proven experience as maintenance technician with the ability to manage electrical, mechanical and plumbing based tasks * Experience in planning maintenance operations * Solid understanding of technical aspects of plumbing, carpentry, electrical systems etc. * Working knowledge of facilities machines and equipment * Flexibility towards working hours * Strong communicator - you will be required to liaise with a number of departments.
