Job Description

In fulfilling its duties as a sponsor of clinical trials, NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde Health Board wish to appoint an experienced governance facilitator to support the research governance team comprising of the governance manager, QA manager, Lead Monitor, academic monitors and Pharmacovigilance manager and auditor. As a key member of the team you will provide administrative and technical support to the governance department, and within that to the Audit & Monitoring team. The post will involve Collecting and presenting accurate research data for governance reports and senior management and board meetings. Organising and checking research study information and validating document sets for committees audit and monitoring QC checking to ensure governance staff are following SOPS and MHRA guidance. Carrying out site file visits, explaining the complex and comprehensive documentation and process to investigator teams of non-CTIMPS. Participate in the development and implementation of a robust Quality Management System for the preparation of the next MHRA Inspection. Support meetings the Governance team are involved in and take minutes. Manage annual leave trackers and purchase orders on behalf of manager. Managing diaries Previous experience with Root Cause Analysis and problem solving would be advantageous QC checking GCP non-compliance logs Updating SSTS for governance team It is essential that you have relevant experience within a Governance/Monitoring /clinical trial/or Audit minimum of a Degree or equivalent experience and you should have knowledge of the research environment and terminology You will have excellent communication skills and show initiative, independent working and judgment. The permanent post is for 27 hours per week. We offer some flexibility on working pattern.
