Job Description
The Role The James Retail Group is looking for an enthusiastic Food-to-Go Sales Assistant whose principal responsibility will be to maximise sales within one of our busy food retail outlets. You will be responsible for the production and service of 'made to order' sandwiches, and other food items. You will support the Assistant Manager in ensuring that stock is replenished, administration is accurate and completed in line within the required timescales, and customer enquiries are dealt with in an effective and timely manner. You will have accountability for stock, cash, and general merchandising. In order to perform your role as Food-to-Go Sales Assistant, you will receive an in-depth training plan with exceptional learning and development opportunities. The Person As a Food-to-Go Sales Assistant, you must be customer focused, have the ability to maintain good product knowledge at all times; and above all, possess excellent communication skills to be able to deliver the first-rate customer service that is recognised in the community.
