Job Description Your Role As Global Web Project Manager, you will be accountable for our global portfolio of websites. You will make global decisions to evolve our web presence and project manage implementation. As guardian of our global CMS system, you will ensure that it is fit for purpose and help our publishing community to work efficiently and effectively. You will support our UX and UI design programme for the SGS Group, managing our UX/UI specialist directly. Your role manages the global production backbone for all content and campaigns across all geographies and languages, ensuring efficient and smooth operation. In addition, you will implement best practice for independent marketers to follow and provide support and training. You will manage direct reports as well as supervising back-office production teams. Key Accountabilities As Global Web Project Manager, you will: * Evolve our web presence and obtain buy-in from global and local stakeholders at all levels of seniority * Gather requirements from stakeholders for the evolution of our web presence. You will work with team members, and internal and external partners to create and implement new content types and applications to enhance our web presence * Act as the product owner for the corporate websites working with IT resources, providing requirements and prioritisation and using your own technical knowledge to create solutions to business needs * Support a UX and UI design programme for the SGS Group, managing a UX/UI specialist * Be accountable for the production backbone and service delivery for global and local web content and campaigns, evolving it and making sure it remains fit for purpose * Manage, appraise, coach, counsel and develop direct reports. Ensure each individual has a set of objectives and is given an annual performance appraisal to encourage effective communication of individual, team and business goals, addressing any areas for improvement * Supervise the digital publishing team in the Philippines. Establish processes and delegate work to the team as required. Challenge and update the required skills in the team to meet KPIs and work with the local team to source personnel * Maintain awareness of all new digital marketing trends and leverage opportunities to adopt and scale new technologies Qualifications Essential skills - you will have: * The ability to work from strategy through to operations to deliver meaningful digital marketing results * Demonstrable experience at strategic level within a corporate digital marketing environment * Experience with managing major digital marketing system migrations on an end-to-end basis, blending internal and external resources * Experience with modelling and managing content in complex CMS systems * Experience of working with and briefing development teams on CMS development * Sound knowledge of digital marketing technology and the broader marketing landscape * First-rate people management, with the ability to manage teams across geographies in a number of models (direct management and back office 'sponsor' relationship), coaching and training team members to reach their full potential * Good communication skills - both verbal and written * Strong organisational and prioritisation skills - for yourself and others - while being able to be flexible when the needs of the business change * Be highly commercially minded Desirable skills - you will have: * Experience with Sitecore CMS * A degree-level education * Multiple languages Additional Information * Location : Flexible location across UK * Contract Type: Fixed Term - 6 months renewable * Start Date: September 2020 * Travel required: Some domestic and international travel required, up to 15% of the time * Salary : 35,000 - 45,000 per annum depending on experience * Benefits: 10% performance bonus, retail discount scheme, private health cover, contributory stakeholder pension scheme and life cover.
