Summary & job purpose Support the European Finance team to provide / perform the following: Lead the budgeting and forecasting process for Indirect cost-base * Develop and maintain Financial Models for Financial Analysis to support * Develop and maintain P&L and Balance Sheet variance Analysis, ratio analysis and KPI to understand and identify the financial results and business risks * Develop and maintain Financial Models for budgeting and forecasting * Support the Operational Finance Director on developing and improving the monthly management reporting packs * Manage the Indirect costs FP&A function with direct reports in Europe * Work closely with the FP&A teams for other areas of P & L and BS to improve and standardize FP&A processes * Work closely with the Responsibility cost centre owners to provide business partnering and useful commercial analysis for managing the business and making strategic decisions * Support monthly Finance functions across the Business on all aspects of financial control and compliance * Assist with ad hoc projects, as required An important element of the role is coordinating different stakeholders within Business units in-country and in organizations across Europe and the Rest of the World, as well as with European management. Strategy & Innovation: The successful candidate should have the ability to do the following: * Work with Operational management in producing financial strategic plan. * Provide complete and accurate information for month end and management reporting highlighting issues and trends for the relevant Business Partners. * Support the Senior Finance Leaders and Finance Functions on standardizing and improving budgeting and forecasting processes to ensure that a strong control environment is maintained * Work with the IT / Business Intelligence tools to develop reports to analyse spend and procurement activity and efficiency * Help develop and improve the financial reporting systems that are used by the Finance teams * Support the Senior Finance Leaders and Finance Functions to ensure that FP&A processes are standardized across all the businesses * Manage ad hoc projects as required Operations & Results: * Support Finance reporting requirements and the annual budgeting and forecasting * Provide detailed margin analysis so the business can track actual vs budgeted performance and identify problems. * Provide full financial and analytical support to the Senior Finance Leaders and Finance Functions on a range of business analysis problems. * Assist with balance sheet reviews and understanding the balance sheets and cash-flows through variance analysis, ratio analysis and KPIs. * Supporting the Finance team(s) to review and track the performance of critical group projects to ensure timely execution and delivery of key objectives. Customers & Relationships: * Establish and maintain good working relationships with Business Partners as well as Senior Finance Leaders and Finance Functions * Manage the FP&A team and ensure that the team is providing margin and commercial analysis that is succinct, accurate, and timely * Support Finance teams to understand their systems, processes and business gaps * Develop strong working relationships with the Finance Teams and Business Partners * Work with the Finance, Operations and Commercial Teams to understand all the different drivers and variances in Indirect costs.
