Job Description

We run our business by these values and they are reflected in all of our roles, see below how you will embody them as one of our night loaders. You'll report in to your Shift Supervisor and Outbound Manager, where you will be part of a shift that processes a large volume of parcels. Depending on which shift and what day, it may be anything from 40,000 to a 100,000 parcels in a shift. But don't worry you won't be tackling them alone! You'll work as part of a team and use some really smart kit to help you sort all those parcels efficiently. You'll use Hand-Held Terminals (HHT's), pump-trucks (once you're trained) and work on fancy conveyor systems that bring the parcels to you and then you will sort them in to smaller "collars" for certain areas and postcodes. This isn't an easy job and at times you will have to deal with large volumes but then there will be times when the volumes are lighter and you'll have chance to gain new skills and experience. This position is ideal for someone who wants to grow their career with us and take on more of a leadership role. You must be able to work well in a team and take the lead on your section on your shift.
