We are looking for driven, enthusiastic Security Supervisors to join our Security team at a new fulfilment centre due to open Autumn 2020. Responsibilities * Support the implementation of Security policies and procedures across all areas of the site to enable the business to deliver high quality, safe and secure environments in which to work. * Ensure all security staff within the team are informed/trained in company policies and procedures, relevant health and safety. Where noncompliance is observed report to the Security Manager immediately. * Carry out investigations and report on incidents to the Security Manager. * Carry out LP investigations and establish route cause and assist the Security Manager in driving down overall loss. * Support the preparation of security reports and statistical performance data to enable Security KPIs to be monitored. * Respond positively to security concerns from employees and visitors, relating to activities on site in order that appropriate action can be taken. * Develop and maintain effective working relationships with managers, staff, contractors and other stakeholders to support a culture where security is given the highest priority. * Support the development and delivery of employee security initiatives. * To provide first aid, where qualified, to staff and contractors and to liaise with the ambulance service where required. * Implement spot checks and searches on staff in line with HR Policies. * Monitor and authorize access and egress to site to guard against theft and maintain the security of the premises. * Great and assist visitors and staff as required. * To ensure the safety and welfare of all staff and visitors who enter the site. * Answer all intruder, fire and panic alarms and investigate disturbances. * Call emergency services in case of an emergency such as accident, fire, presence of unauthorized person(s) or incidents such as theft. * Operate detecting devices to screen individuals and prevent theft from the warehouse. * Monitor CCTV systems as required.
